On 26 June 2026, the imk Group held its annual summer party. In glorious – albeit very hot – weather, we put our day-to-day tasks aside and enjoyed our time together to the full. The event provided the perfect setting for a relaxed exchange amongst colleagues in a casual atmosphere.
Treasure hunt and games afternoon in Amselgrund
The afternoon began with two different activities. Whilst one group set off on a varied treasure hunt via geocaching and was rewarded with a delicious ice-cream surprise along the way, the other group spent a relaxing afternoon playing games in Amselgrund. Both activities provided a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the lovely weather and get to know one another away from our desks.
A quiz for colleagues and a sporting finale
Afterwards, all the participants gathered together again in one place. A particular highlight was the game „How well do you know your colleagues?“. Dr Trepte and Prof. Dr Fritzsche demonstrated their knowledge of the team during the game. In this entertaining way, we all got to know each other a little better. Afterwards, a delicious kebab buffet awaited all the hungry and heat-stricken staff.
We rounded off the evening with a game of table tennis, badminton and plenty of pleasant conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. With its many lovely moments, this summer party has once again shown just how important it is to share experiences away from the daily grind of work.
