  • In addition to external customer requirements, you also receive technical feedback directly from your colleagues in other departments, as the software is also used for internal planning projects, so you can work together on new functions.
  • You not only work conceptually on new features & projects, but can also actively participate in the implementation of your ideas
  • Within the scope of research and development projects, you will further develop our product portfolio and deal with future technologies such as 3D simulation, virtual reality and artificial intelligence.
  • You carry out tests to see whether and how your development works, and after successful implementation you create documentation to accompany the application.

A profile that leads you to us

  • You are characterised by an independent, systematic and goal- and solution-oriented way of working.
  • You have a university degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or a vocational qualification (e.g. as an IT specialist) with relevant work experience.
  • You have a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and you are proficient in at least one programming language such as C# or Java.
  • You enjoy learning about new and exciting topics, tools and technologies
  • You are happy to work closely with other developers - because teamwork is important to us.
  • Confident in software development environments such as Microsoft Visual Studio or Eclipse
  • You already have experience with technologies of front-end development (e.g. WPF, JavaFX or React) and possibly 3D visualisation
  • Basic knowledge of planning, process and procedure technologies, multimedia, CAD, graphics or ERP systems round off your profile
  • You have a good command of written and spoken German and English

Here's how it goes - application process:

After your application has been received, your submitted documents will be forwarded to the respective department for review. As a rule, you will receive initial feedback within 10 working days. If we think that the advertised position might suit you, we will invite you to a first interview. The participants will be you, a member of staff from the relevant department and our HR manager. The interview will be conducted in a relaxed atmosphere and will serve to get to know you and your qualifications better, as well as to get to know the company imk and the advertised position better. After a positive assessment of the first interview, a second interview will usually take place on site to meet in person before you possibly work together as colleagues on exciting topics a few months later.
