Yesterday evening Dr Jens Treptefounder of imk and Managing Director of imk Health Intelligence GmbH, at the Automotive Forum with the August Speedwell honoured for his life's work.

The prize is awarded by the AMZ network, the August Horch Museum Zwickau, DRH Vermögensverwaltung and the Chemnitz Chamber of Industry and Commerce. It honours personalities from the automotive industrywho have made a sustained commitment to the automotive industry in the Free State of Saxony. The aim of the award is to special merits and innovative achievements in the Saxon automotive industry and the supplier industry and to honour them.

In his laudatory speech, Frank Riemer-Keller, Managing Director of Injecta GmbH and long-time companion of Dr Trepte, emphasised his passion for technology and innovation. He described him as "Warhorse with petrol in his blood" and emphasised in particular his courage to break new ground. Dr Trepte began his career in 1994 as Head of Development at Sachsenring and was committed to the automotive industry for many yearsbefore he leaves the Step into medical technology dared.

Dr Jens Trepte was awarded the August Horch Prize in recognition of his many years of expertise, his innovative spirit and his lasting contribution to the Saxon automotive industry.
