Industrial Engineer – Factory & Logistics Planning (m/f/d)

Help shape the factory of the future – with us and our its own software.

We develop innovative solutions for the planning and optimisation of factories and logistics systems. We combine industrial engineering and factory and logistics planning with our proprietary software to analyse, simulate and sustainably improve complex production and logistics processes using data-driven approaches.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for:

Your tasks

  • Planning and optimisation of factories, production areas and logistics systems (capacity planning, material flow and layout planning)
  • Development and evaluation of concepts for lean, value-stream-optimised production and efficient, material-flow-oriented logistics solutions
  • Compiling results and presenting recommendations for action to clients and project teams
  • Working on challenging projects – from the initial analysis through to data preparation and the design phase, right through to implementation
  • Implementation and conceptual development of our in-house software for the modelling, analysis and optimisation of complex production and logistics systems

Your profile

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Alternatively, a technical qualification with relevant further training and relevant professional experience
  • A passion for factory planning, production systems and logistics
  • An analytical and structured approach to work, as well as a good understanding of complex interrelationships
  • Interest in digital planning tools, simulation and data-driven methods
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with other planning, simulation or CAD systems would be an advantage
  • Initiative, a sense of responsibility and enjoyment of working as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues in a way that is easy to understand
  • Good command of German and English

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • A varied and responsible role offering plenty of scope for initiative
  • A passion for technology, planning and innovative solutions
  • Every factory is different. You’ll be working across a range of industries, tackling a variety of tasks and challenges, and developing bespoke solutions for complex production and logistics systems.
  • We give you the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, take on responsibility and play an active part in shaping our planning methods
  • Working as part of a dedicated and interdisciplinary team
  • An open corporate culture with short decision-making processes
  • Attractive remuneration and modern equipment

Not every requirement is a 100% match for %? – That’s perfectly fine. What matters more to us is that you enjoy tackling challenges and are keen to get to grips with new topics. If you meet most of the requirements and are keen to work with us to improve processes and develop your professional skills, we look forward to getting to know you. Please feel free to apply – even if your profile doesn’t tick every single box in this job advertisement. The role is suitable for both career starters and experienced professionals.

We look forward to receiving your application!
